Position : Editorial Officer

I. THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Editorial Officer plays a critical role in the Marketing and Communications department in coordinating, researching, planning, producing, and writing compelling content to enable internal teams in Marketing, Resource Acquisition, Public Engagement, programme quality and the broader organization, achieve their goals. 
The Editorial Officer manages the critical function of translation of external facing materials for both donors, grant providers and the various government ministries.
This role plays a key role in positioning World Vision Cambodia both within Cambodia and Internationally.

Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • With an in-depth knowledge of Community Development, proactively Manage the development of an annual portfolio of reports that build public engagement, awareness and trust in World Vision.
  • Manage the development of prepositioning and impact reports to support the acquisition and retention of grants.
  • Develop articles that position children as agents of change within their communities and communicate the challenges that are faced by Most Vulnerable Children.
  • Development of communications products that Cambodian children and families and the impact achieved are accurately communicated.
  • Develop and Establish strong partnering relationships with key internal stakeholders.
  • Build editorial capacity for ( Resource acquisition team, technical Specialists, etc ) 
  • Contribute to and affirm a team culture that aligns to World Vision values and all WVI-C policies.
Job Requirements

As part of the World Vision Cambodia mandate requirements for new staff, all candidates who are offered job are required to produce Local Police Clearance Certificate prior to date of joining in the organization. We recommend applying for the certificate upon application submission.
