Job Description
We are looking for qualified candidate to fill for the position below.
- Network Security Manager
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and implement network security policies and procedures, including access controls, incident response, and vulnerability management.
- Design, configure, and maintain the bank's network security devices, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and other security devices.
- Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect and prevent security breaches.
- Work with other IT teams and end-users to ensure that the bank's network security meets the organization's business objectives.
- Manage vendor relationships for network security devices, including procurement, maintenance, and support.
- Develop and implement procedures for routine maintenance and upgrades of network security devices.
- Maintain documentation for the bank's network security, including configuration, processes, and procedures.
- Develop and deliver training programs for end-users and other IT teams on network security best practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in network security, including managing network security operations in a large-scale environment.
- Strong knowledge of network security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and other security devices.
- Experience with network protocols, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VLANs.
- Experience with scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with other IT teams and senior management.
- Familiarity with banking applications and software, such as core banking systems, would be an advantage.
- Willingness to work outside of normal business hours to perform system maintenance and upgrades as required.
