Passerelles numériques (PN), a French non-profit organisation, is dedicated to enabling highly disadvantaged youths, through their abilities and their commitment, to access education and technical and vocational training, in the sector of Information Technology. We work to build strong employability which will allow them and their families to sustainably escape poverty, and contribute to the social and economic development of their countries.
Established in Cambodia, the Philippines and Vietnam, Passerelles numériques currently trains 513 students in those 3 countries, where over 1000 students already graduated from our programs. PN employs about 100 people mainly in Asia.
Passerelles numériques relies on the financial and skills sponsorship of several corporate partners such as Accenture, Econocom-Osiatis, CA Technologies, Microsoft and Société Générale and also receives support from individual donors.
In Cambodia, Passerelles numériques provides since 2005 a 2-year full-time IT training, in two majors: Systems & Networks Administration and Web Programming. In 2007, the first class graduated with 20 students, and most of them had a job just after graduation. Passerelles numériques Cambodia selects 100 unprivileged students every year (50% of girls), from 19 provinces, upon social and academic criteria, to join its program.
Since 2005, 629 students completed with success training program. 100% of them find a skilled employment within 3 months and their average starting salary is $170; within 2 years they earn an average salary of $300 per month.

- Reporting to: Training Manager of PNC
- Training Delivery
- Deliver the course using interactive methods, discussion, and a “learning by doing” approach
- Evaluate students with both formative and summative assessments
- Maintain a process of feedback for each lesson
- Evaluate each lesson and give ideas for future improvement
- Teaching Methodology
- Collaborate with local colleagues to address training issues and share ideas with the Training team for more effective teaching methods
- Develop tools and teaching tips
- BA in Education, Pedagogy or similar field, Teaching credential or TEFL preferred
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience
- Autonomous, well-organized, flexible and creative
- Language: English – native
STATUS AND CONDITIONS
- Native English Teacher Volunteer
- Local volunteer contract (no allowance)
- Full-time job basis (teaching 6 hours a day during 12 weeks, & coaching & observing students during the 1 week project)
