Job Description

HOPE Worldwide seeks to recruit a suitable and qualified candidate for a position of Cashier at the Community Medical Center (CMC)

Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Check how much money is available at the cash counter before starting the duty
  • Check the cash given by the customers if original or not
  • Update all the discounts or any price changes if applicable
  • Receive payments and return back the change to the customers
  • Arrange all the cash in at the counter desk safely and always make sure to have required change at the cash counter so as to avoid any inconveniences at cash counter desk
  • Accurately balance daily receipts and money daily, total and report daily to Finance Accounting Clerk in accordance with the guidelines and reports required
  • Verify partner’s reference sheets, print copies, and complete supporting document to fulfill the accounts receivable recognition in database
  • Collect payments and co pay from patients; complete legible and accurate receipts in accordance with established procedures.
Job Requirements
  • At least in his/her 4th year in university (preferably Accounting/Finance)
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • Experience of working related to customer service is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good spoken and written Khmer, English is an advantage
  • Willing to work hard and learn new skills
  • Able to work both in a team work and independently
  • Willing to contribute and help in improving the work place
  • Honest, friendly, cooperative, flexible, respectful, and reliable
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills.
