Cambodian Children’s Fund (CCF) is one of the leading international NGO that contribute to social development through providing life-changing education, nourishment and healing to vulnerable children from some of Cambodia’s most destitute communities with its vision to transform them into tomorrow’s leaders. This well respected NGO, currently, cares for more than 2,400 students and 10,000 people annually, helping entire families and communities in crisis through a significant array of programs and initiatives.
CCF operates in Cambodia through strong support relationship development and fundraising businesses in USA, Australia, UK, and HK. It has grown rapidly since its inception. To support the development, CCF is currently looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position as below.
Positions Summary :
Public School Assistant
Public School Assistant will be responsible for managing CCF students at around 500 local primary school. This will involve building relationships and communicating with teachers, students and families, arranging meetings, ensuring student’s scores are collated and students have all the official documentation required. In addition, the role holder will be responsible for arranging transportation to school, address any issues around attendance and assist the Education Team with any other urgent and related tasks as required.
- Manage CCF’s students around 500 of Stung Mean Chey Primary school
- Register students into public schools and make sure all students have official documents
- Provide study materials and uniforms to students who study at Stung Mean Chey primary school
- Record of student’s absence at public school and solve all students problems related to public school on time and effectively
- Student's score collection every month at SMC primary school and arrange class for students who poor their study
- Maintain good relations with parents and students to ensure high student achievement and attendance rates
- Monitor and support good student discipline, carrying our consequences and sanctions as deemed necessary according to policy
- Arrange students meeting with public school supervisor
- Other tasks will be assigned by supervisor
- Visibly ethical: able to demonstrate CCF values in day-to-day work
- Bachelor of management, Administration, or other related field
- At least one year’s successful working experience with children and poor community
- Be able to deal with public school teacher in a professional manner
- Good writing, speaking and reading in English
- Good computer skills in word, Excel, Power point and Internet
- Be honest and trustworthy, respectful and helpful, commitment, responsibility and be flexible
