KREDIT Microfinance Institution Plc., founded in 1993, is a permanent license Christian Microfinance Institution which is contributing to the social and economic development of communities by enabling the economically active poor to improve their lives through its reliable and sustainable financial services such as Loan, Deposit, ATM&CDM, Fast Payment, Payroll service, and local money transfer. To meet our recent operational growth and expansion, KREDIT Microfinance Institution Plc. is currently seeking for qualified candidates for the positions as the following:
- Financial Audit Unit Manager (1 Position)
- Manage the Financial Audit Unit and others as assigned
- Monitor and manage the Annual Audit Plan under the responsibility.
- Review the audit plan of assigned team and update to HIA and contribute to the preparation of annual audit plan under the responsibility
- Determine the audit scope, objectives and communicate to management to address high-risk areas and minimize time spent.
- Implementing the audit execution/spot follow up over the IA activities and performance
- Prepare and create an Audit Program and procedure to discuss with HIA in order to align with company business.
- Consolidates reporting output by the Senior/Internal Auditor in the team and coordinate to finalize.
- Discussion on audit reports, critical audit matters identified, meeting with the related management team for specific issues as necessary
- Support the audit team on the audit knowledge to ensure audit process; control; scope and technic is coved
- Review and revise working paper; audit program as need and bring to discuss with HIA
- Provide training to staff and ensure that audit staff is staying up-to-date on the developments of the institution and help staff to achieve their career plan
- Ensure constant improvement of IA performance and quality as well as efficiency
- Encourage and promote a collaborative and transparent working culture
- Follow up the action item on specific issues related to the agreed timeframe with auditee.
- Sending the report to HIA within the audit timeframe.
- Experiences in leadership role at least 2 years
- Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting, MBA, ACCA/CAT or related field
- Experiences at least 2 years in audit field, especially MFI/Banking sector/financial management or others related.
- Good understanding of internal control, process and risk analysis
- Good teamwork and audit ethic
- Good computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office) and a good understanding of CBS system or other specific MIS for MFIs are more advantageous.
- Good written and spoken English, communication and interpersonal skills
- High motivation and ability to work without supervision.
