Job Description
Join Amrita's Investment Research Team and work side by side with our senior investment professionals. As our Research Analyst, you will be the analytical engine behind potential transactions, providing the research, numbers and operational support that turn promising opportunities into confident investment decisions.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Collaborate with the Investment Team to deliver comprehensive, in-depth analysis of investment transactions
- Work closely with the Investment Team to evaluate deals, from initial assessment to final decision.
- Develop financial models to assess the economic value of potential investments.
- Conduct valuation analysis, including comparable company analysis and discounted cash flow analysis, for target assets.
- Research, analyze, present and document the key aspects of a transaction as they develop.
- Prepare compelling pitch decks and investment memoranda
- Monitor the performance of our real estate assets under management and prepare quarterly updates.
- Stay informed about real estate development in Cambodia and other emerging regional markets.
- Analyze market and property data to support investment assumptions and acquisitions decisions.
- Take on additional responsibilities as the team and the role evolve.
Job Requirements
Languages:
- English - Fluent is required
- Khmer - Fluent is required
- Bachelor's Degree is required
- Analyst in Financial (Banks, Microfinance) for 2 years is required
- A degree with a strong academic record.
- At least two years of experience in finance, investment banking or buy-side investment roles.
- Strong financial modeling skills.
- A self-motivated individual with strong quantitative skills and proven analytical abilities.
- Excellent English proficiency; Chinese proficiency is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Regional market experience is an advantage.
- Based in Cambodia and able to work at Amrita FMCG District in Phnom Penh.
