Angkor Wildlife & Aquarium is a world-class destination. The project consists of a 2,600m2 aquarium featuring freshwater species, as well as a 600,000-liter saltwater aquarium. The project also covers 10 hectares of outdoor Zoological (animal) exhibits and attractions.
The project emphasizes on education as well as providing an entertainment venue catering to national and international tourists visiting the Siem Reap area.
- Verify journals entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documents in to accounting system, to ensure correct account codes and classes.
- Oversee and manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure proper internal controls, policies, and procedures are maintained to safeguard company assets and improve financial efficiency.
- Manage cash flow forecast, budgeting processes, and financial planning activities.
- Perform bank transactions such as cash/cheque deposit/withdrawals.
- Provide technical support regarding POS issues such as refund, cancelation, amend…when necessary.
- Conduct profitability analysis of income collection from ticket sales, F&B and retail and monitoring properly.
- Collaborate with department heads (Front of the house-GRO/Ticketing, Sales and Marketing department, HR department to ensure monthly staff payroll be paid on time) to align financial goals with operational performance.
- Lead, train, and supervise accounting team members, providing support to improve staff performance and productivity.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with accuracy and in compliance with accounting standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and uphold ethical accounting practices.
- Check monthly tax declaration payment to tax department by e-filling system with an adequate supporting paperwork for tax payments and tax returns.
- Ensure timely declaration of annual income tax on time
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements of hospitality-specific financial policies.
- Manage audits and liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure timely submission of financial reports to management and relevant authorities.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to management for decision-making.

- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s or CPA/ACCA /IFFRS preferred).
- 5-10 years of progressive finance experience in Finance and Administration, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Office management and providing support experiences
- Strong knowledge of hospitality industry and main accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
- A knowledge of preparing tax payment through E-Filling System
- Experience with NSSF payment for all staff to follow government requirements
- Skill in using QuickBooks/ Accounting system/ POS, set up chart account/classes, generate reports, breakdown reports, …..
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Excellent accounting and technical mathematic skills as well as accounting system with attention to detail to identify inconsistencies or discrepancies that can affect the report.
- Strategic mindset with ability to balance guest experience and financial performance.
