We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill the following position at our office in Cambodia
- Primary function:
- Assist in coordinating the program activities with advice and direction from the Program Lead;
- Support all program administration requirements;
- Assist in the implementation of school-based road safety programs, capacity building for factory workers safe commute in Cambodia and other work and actively contribute to the efficient and effective coordination of all events organizing, logistics, support and survey functions; and
- Assist the Program Leads to achieve any tasks assigned, as directed.
- Program implementation:
- Assist the Program Leads with all program planning and implementation as required.
- Assist the program team with event planning and the implementation of road safety programs including monitoring and evaluation activities.
- Support the development of training and Information/Education/Communication (IEC) materials, as required;
- Engage with the management team and assist with the organizing events, meetings, workshops, trainings. This includes preparation of administration and finance related-stuff; and
- Lead the coordination of the program database including updates, security and maintenance.
- Supervisory:
- Coordinate with the Program Volunteer(s) to ensure all relevant program tasks are completed
- Take an active part in assisting the professional development of Program Volunteer(s)
- Program monitoring, and evaluation:
- Assist in the development, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Program activities in collaboration with the Program team and Program Lead; and
- Work with and assist the senior Program Lead by taking the lead in completing all monitoring, evaluation and reporting requirements, as mandated by specific Road Safety program.
- Financial Management:
- Support the Program Leads with managing and monitoring the Program budget and related projects.
- Program cycle duties:
- Assist the Program Leads, as required, with the development of annual and quarterly work plans; and
- Support the Program Leads, as required, with the preparation of reporting for review by the Country Director before submission to funders/sponsors.
- Key working relationships:
- Assist the Program team with the development and maintenance of positive relationships with key stakeholders, i.e. AIP Foundation personnel, donors, sponsors, government departments and officials, private sector, school management and staff and parents.
- Relevant university degree (law, education, management, public administration or IR);
- Good written and spoken English and Khmer;
- At least one-year-experience in a similar role working with NGOs preferably in the education sector;
- Experience assisting the development of awareness raising projects and IEC materials;
- Experience with event organizing;
- Familiarity with school context and work flows;
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to network proficiently;
- Presentation and facilitation skills;
- Good coordination and organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize whilst managing stakeholder expectations.
- Good computer proficiency with Microsoft Office software;
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team;
