Job Description
Borey Courtyard, also known as ELT Courtyard 60m, is a residential development in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, located on 50M Road. It's a boutique community spanning 5 hectares, with a limited number of homes (over 100) designed to offer exclusivity and luxury. The development features four different types of minimalist homes, all with courtyards, and some larger homes include swimming pools.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise all on-site MEP installations, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire protection, and low-voltage systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all works are performed according to approved drawings, specifications, and building codes.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, defects, or deviations from the design, and collaborate with the project team to find effective solutions.
- Ensure the quality of materials and workmanship meets the project's standards.
- Coordinate with the main contractor, MEP subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure a smooth and timely workflow.
- Liaise with architects, consultants, and project managers to resolve any technical issues or design challenges.
- Attend site meetings and provide detailed updates on MEP progress, challenges, and upcoming tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, inspections, and project documentation.
- Enforce strict health and safety protocols related to all MEP works.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Few years of Experience as a Site Engineer or Officer, with a focus on MEP systems in the real estate or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical wiring, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting MEP drawings, specifications, and building codes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
