Job Description

Bright Community Cambodia Organization (BCCO) is a local NGO which aims to raise up the next generation through education. We concentrate on the education for children, particularly the marginalized people, so that they can gain knowledge and develop talents in order to face the future challenges. We provide education from kindergarten to high school, and also have university student sponsorship programme. Under our management, we proudly superintend Bright Pailin School and Bahuy AGS Primary School, both of which uphold the standards set by the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports and both located in Pailin Province.

Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Manage daily accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial records.
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with accurate and timely reporting.
  • Prepare financial reports and analysis to support management and overseas stakeholders.
  • Perform and oversee budgeting, cash flow management, and cost control initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Cambodia tax regulations (CIT, WHT, VAT) and relevant financial laws.
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external consultants and tax authorities.
  • Monitor procurement-related financial activities and maintain proper documentation.
  • Process payroll and ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain adherence to CIFRS and internal financial policies.
  • Supervise and develop junior finance staff.
Job Requirements
Languages:
  • Khmer - Fluent
  • English - Fluent
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Work History:
  • Experience in accounting and financial management for 3 years as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:General & Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of Cambodia tax regulations; NBC familiarity is an asset.
  • Proficient in MS Office and accounting systems.
  • Strong communication skills in Khmer and English.
Soft Skills
  • Detail-oriented with good analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • High integrity and a results-driven mindset.
