- Primary Teacher
- Main Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Delivery:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum, ensuring content meets the needs of diverse learners.
- Classroom Management:
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that promotes student engagement and adheres to school behavior policies.
- Lesson Planning:
- Develop detailed lesson plans and resources that align with Cambridge learning objectives, incorporating creative and innovative teaching strategies.
- Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, including co-teachers and teaching assistants, to support student learning and contribute to curriculum development.
- Professional Development:
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated with Cambridge program requirements and best practices in primary education.
- Extracurricular Activities:
- Support and contribute to school events, clubs, or activities that enhance the holistic development of students.
- Safeguarding:
- Adhere to the school’s safeguarding and child protection policies, ensuring the well-being of all students.
- Assessment and Reporting:
- Assess student progress using formative and summative methods, provide constructive feedback, and prepare reports in line with Cambridge assessment standards.
- Parent Communication:
- Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- The employee is expected to support and perform additional duties as reasonably assigned by their line manager, provided such tasks align with their role and area of expertise.
- Job Requirements:
- Strong understanding of the Cambridge Academic Program and its learning objectives
- Expat
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject, with a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably within the Cambridge Primary Curriculum or a similar international framework.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
- Specific Technical Competencies:
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital learning platforms.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attitudes:
- Passionate about teaching, adaptable, collaborative, and committed to fostering a positive learning environment.
