Job Description
CAM-ICARE Manufacturing Ltd, based in Sihanoukville, Cambodia, is looking for an experienced Operations Director to lead our manufacturing operations and support the next stage of our growth.
This is a senior management position responsible for leading more than 150 employees across production, quality, planning, warehouse and continuous improvement.
We are looking for a hands-on leader who enjoys fast-paced manufacturing environments and has a strong track record in improving productivity, reducing costs and developing high-performing teams.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead the daily operations of the manufacturing facility to achieve safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement across all manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implement productivity improvement and cost reduction (cost killing) initiatives.
- Optimize manpower, equipment utilization and production flow.
- Ensure production targets, quality standards and on-time deliveries are consistently achieved.
- Analyze KPIs and manufacturing data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop supervisors and middle management into strong operational leaders.
- Build a performance-driven culture with clear accountability.
- Work closely with sourcing, engineering, quality, planning and commercial teams.
- Support industrialization of new products and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements and safety standards.
- Lead operational problem solving and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Job Requirements
Languages:
- Chinese - Simplified - Fluent is required
- English - Good is preferred
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Manufacturing for 5 to 10 years as a minimum
- Minimum 8-10 years of management experience in manufacturing.
- Willing to relocate to Sihanoukville for at least 3 years.
- Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) is mandatory.
- Good English communication skills preferred.
- Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and productivity optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision making.
- Good computer skills (ERP experience; FileMaker is a plus).
- Experience working in an international and multicultural environment.
- Experience managing production teams.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Autonomous, proactive and results-oriented.
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-growing manufacturing environment.
