Job Description

The Cambodia University of Technology and Science (CamTech) was established in 2021 with the vision of becoming a leading university in technology and science to support Cambodia’s future prosperity. Located in Chroy Changva Satellite City, Phnom Penh, CamTech maintains strong links between higher education, industry, and applied research.

Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Leadership and Strategy
  • Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the University’s internal quality assurance system.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of professional development programs for faculty and academic staff.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Academic Quality and Learning Excellence Framework aligned with institutional goals.
  • Serve as the University’s focal point for accreditation, academic audit, and AUN-QA engagement.
  • Quality Assurance and Accreditation
  • Coordinate institutional self-assessment and accreditation documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with MoEYS, the Accreditation Committee of Cambodia and international quality standards.
  • Analyze and report academic performance indicators (student retention, graduation rates, learning outcomes).
  • Lead quality improvement planning and policy recommendations for academic enhancement.
  • Teaching and Learning Innovation
  • Promote the adoption of outcome-based and student-centered teaching approaches.
  • Oversee the development of resources and training for teaching excellence and digital learning.
  • Mentor faculty in innovative pedagogy, research-based teaching, and curriculum alignment.
  • Collaboration and Capacity Building
  • Work closely with Deans, the Registrar, and Student Affairs to improve academic support and student retention.
  • Strengthen partnerships with national and international universities on quality and teaching innovation.
  • Organize annual academic quality reviews and teaching conferences.
Job Requirements
Languages:
  • English - Fluent
  • Khmer is preferred
  • Chinese - Simplified is preferred
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in or Doctorate in Education, Higher Education Management, or a relevant STEM or Health discipline.
Work History:
  • Academic leadership experience, preferably in quality assurance or educational development for 5 years as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:General & Technical Skills
  • Proven record in accreditation processes, curriculum reform, and faculty development.
  • Strong understanding of AUN-QA frameworks, MoEYS and ACC standards, and international accreditation practices.
  • Demonstrated commitment to innovative, technology-enhanced, and evidence-based teaching.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills in English (Khmer and Chinese an advantage).
