Job Description

Cambodian Children’s Fund (CCF) is one of the leading international NGO that contribute to social development through providing life-changing education, nourishment and healing to vulnerable children from some of Cambodia’s most destitute communities with its vision to transform them into tomorrow’s leaders. This well respected NGO, currently, cares for more than 1,800 students and 14,000 people annually, helping entire families and communities in crisis through a significant array of programs and initiatives.

CCF operates in Cambodia through strong support relationship development and fundraising businesses in USA, Australia, UK, and Hong Kong. It has grown rapidly since its inception. To support the development, CCF is currently looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position below:

Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • ICT Teacher:
  • Conduct student assessments on learning progress using standard evaluation tools and methods aligned with CCF’s curriculum, Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs), and STEM standards;
  • Prepare lesson plans that correspond to students’ ability levels, facilitating class activities, and providing feedback to students about their work and progress in ICT by integrating Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs), STEM standards, and relevant UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs);
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and promote critical thinking, computational thinking, STEAM problem-solving, and real-world awareness through the UN SDGs;
  • Provide guidance and support to students in exploring and pursuing ICT-related interests and STEAM project initiatives;
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, global citizenship (UN SDGs), and respect;
  • Enforce classroom rules and digital classroom guidelines to maintain student discipline, engagement, and safe usage of learning devices;
  • Check and ensure a safe physical and digital learning environment for students during class;
  • Liaise with the IT team and procurement regarding computer lab equipment, classroom device management, hardware, and software requirements to ensure smooth teaching and learning;
  • Support and work closely with students requiring additional learning support through differentiated instruction and targeted assistance;
  • Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by CCF and the School;
  • Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues;
  • Report student behavioral issues to the line manager promptly.
  • ICT Subject Leader:
  • Conduct bi-weekly meetings with all ICT teachers to coordinate instruction and drive the ICT curriculum successfully;
  • Lead and collaborate with the ICT team and STEAM Coordinator and team to design, map, and update the ICT curriculum across Grades 7–12, aligning with Khmer General Education (KGE) context while benchmarking against international STEAM and ICT standards;
  • Work with team members to establish clear Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs), STEM standards, and standardized assessment and moderation rubrics for each grade;
  • Conduct regular classroom walkthroughs, pop-ins, and peer observations to mentor ICT teachers, share pedagogical best practices, and support their ongoing skill development;
  • Design and facilitate EdTech and STEAM-integrated training and coaching for teachers in other subject areas to ensure effective integration of 21st-century digital tools across the curriculum;
  • Develop and promote guidelines for students and teachers on student device management, acceptable usage, E-Safety, Cyberbullying awareness, Digital Citizenship, and Responsible AI/academic integrity across Grades 7–12;
  • Work with the IT team to advise teachers and management on software policies, student device management protocols, digital security, and requirements for managing and installing software onto the CCF network and student devices;
  • Work with the line manager on departmental budget planning, resource prioritization, and equipment procurement to ensure effective management and utilization of the allocated ICT budget;
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental resource planning to contribute to the overall growth and quality of the school's educational programs;
  • Foster strong teamwork, peer support, and collaboration to achieve team goals and maintain team harmony;
  • Other tasks as assigned by the line manager.
Job Requirements
Languages:
  • English - Good
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/IT or Certificate in Education with a specialization in ICT or Computing is required
Work History:
  • ICT/Computer Science teaching for 3 years as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:General & Technical Skills
  • Proven leadership skills in guiding curriculum design, mentoring peers, and leading professional learning workshops;
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles;
  • Strong practical knowledge in key ICT domain areas including Programming/Coding, Web Design/App Development, 3D Design/Modeling, Mobile OS (Android/iOS), Robotics, and Multimedia applications;
  • Practical experience or familiarity in embedding Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs), STEAM framework standards, and UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into ICT projects;
  • Understanding of student device management guidelines, E-Safety principles, Digital Citizenship, and ethical/responsible AI tool integration in secondary education;
  • Knowledge of innovative teaching techniques, online learning platforms (LMS), and educational technology tools;
  • Good command of English, both speaking and writing;

  • Be punctual, honest, trustworthy, patient, respectful, and helpful;
  • High compassion and commitment to working with community members and children from difficult backgrounds;
  • Genuine enjoyment for helping students and a passion for teaching;
  • Open to teaching in a non-traditional way with a focus on creativity, critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving.
