Job Description

CAST Laboratories (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. is a branch of Singapore’s CAST Laboratories Pte. Ltd. In cooperation with the Board of Engineers, Cambodia (BEC), we established the BECL laboratory in Cambodia. As a leading independent testing and quality center, we provide specializedtesting, inspection services to the construction. With a reputation for excellence across Southeast Asia, we remain the region's preferred partner for technical integrity and safety.

Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Act as the company’s Accredited Checker, authorized to issue construction Inspection and Certification licenses.
  • Lead and oversee operation team in conducting test and inspections, Audit, and Certifications for construction.
  • Ensure compliance with Cambodian regulation, code of practice, and international standard.
  • Review and approve technical reports, inspection findings and Certification documents.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
  • Engage with government authorities, client and stakeholder to maintain credibility and transparency technical staffs.
  • Contribute to business development by strengthening the company’s reputation and expanding service offerings.
  • Perform any Other tasks assigned by Management from time to time.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Work History:
  • Experience in construction material testing and analysis/structural design, must be able to work independently for 4 years as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:General & Technical Skills
  • Proven track record in construction inspection, certification and compliance.
  • Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with international standard (ISO, ASTM, ACI, etc.)
  • Ability to translate technical finding into clear, stakeholder-ready reports.
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for raising industry standards.
Soft Skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Professional integrity and credibility to act as an Accredited checker.
