Job Description
We are seeking a Facility & Operations Manager to oversee daily manufacturing, facility management, and operations in alignment with ISO 22716 (GMPc) standards.
This role requires both strategic management and hands-on supervision, working closely with QC Manager, Production Supervisor, the QA/QC team, and the Materials & Distribution Manager. The Facility & Operations Manager will ensure smooth day-to-day operations, enforce hygiene and safety standards, drive process improvements, and support product development.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Manufacturing & Production Oversight
- Supervise daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met while adhering to ISO 22716 quality and safety standards.
- Review and complete facility and production documents to ensure ISO compliance.
- Maintain inspection and cleaning checklists, enforce staff hygiene standards, and oversee machine operation training.
- Support troubleshooting of equipment issues and ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
- Staff Management & Development
- Coach, train, and monitor staff to achieve maximum performance, job flexibility, and good discipline.
- Ensure all staff understand proper use of equipment and adherence to procedures.
- Build cross-functional collaboration with QA/QC, Production, and Materials & Distribution teams.
- Process Improvement & Product Development
- Identify opportunities for process optimization to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Coordinate and participate in the development of new products and processes in collaboration with R&D and production teams.
- Implement best practices for manufacturing and facility operations.
- Inventory & Supply Coordination
- Monitor raw materials and finished goods inventory levels.
- Coordinate with the Materials & Distribution Manager to ensure timely availability of materials and on-schedule product delivery.
- Ensure all records — job sheets, job controls, product delivery documents — are properly completed and compliant with ISO requirements.
