- Lead and manage the team to focus on the key Customer Service Drivers.
- Fully understand all contracts and charge structures including surcharges, additional charges and accessorial
- charges to ensure the company delivers on its promises and takes every opportunity to up sell and receive value for all services provided.
- Ensure proper implementation of new clients or new programs.
- Ensure and monitor all bookings with vendors/shippers are executed on time.
- Plan and coordinate with vendors/shippers.
- Ensure that the Customer service teams send timely quotations to the Customer.
- Monitor responsiveness on Query Resolution with shippers/Customers.
- Monitor data integrity of systems.
- Responsible for cross sell/up sell, customer retention.
- Follow up on the outstanding bookings & query resolution.
- Monitor, record and report the performance of team members.
- Work with the Commercial team to establish and strengthen customer relationships.
- Ensure ocean freight operation is accordance to corporate standard procedure and guideline
- Promote teamwork spirit and cross division with effective communication
- Other tasks assign by Head of Department.
