The Culture and Environment Preservation Association (CEPA) is a Cambodian non-government organization (NGO) get official registration with the Ministry of Interior on 10th April 1996. CEPA is working to ensure that an independent society that preserves its culture and protects its environment while collaborating with partners, government agencies, researchers and international communities to meet its needs without compromising its abilities to meet the needs of future generation in terms of their environmental, social economic stability and security. Our Mission: CEPA programs are to improve good governance, sustainable livelihoods, enrich natural environment and equip appropriate skills and technologies for sustainable development and climate resilience in Cambodia through capacity building, community action research, community livelihood development partnership and evident based advocacy for sound policies and law enforcement
CEPA is now looking for talent and qualified applicants to fulfill a position including Community Development Officers (CDOs) with the following requirement.
- Assisting Program Managers (PM) to ensure the outputs of the project are delivered according to project activities, resources and time frame
- Involving in project planning and budgeting monthly, quarterly, semesterly and annually.
- Assisting PM to collect data or observe changes at community level for monitoring and evaluation project implementation.
- Direct support the field operation and communication at the ground with local authorities, key stakeholders, and other NGOs in the target province.
- Directly working with and supporting to the project beneficiaries at the ground.
- Assisting PM for preparing the budget request and resettlement alignment with project workplan and budget plan in place.
- Assisting PM for gathering data and information related to the project activities for updating progress report in regular basis for submitting to PM as required.
- Facilitating field work for supporting the relevant study and researches of the project.
- Facilitating and organizing project events such as workshops, meetings and field visits for partners and project activities.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- English - Basic
- Related experience in field of fishery, climate change, enterprise development, Eco-tourism or Natural Resources management.
- Association degree or other specific skill certificate in fishery, climate change, business administration, community development or natural resources management.
- Basic in English both written and spoken.
- Basic skill in using Microsoft Words, Excels, Power Point, Internet, email and social media.
- Good in communication and inter-personal skills
- High commitment in working under pressure to meet the project objective.
- Willing to work with the poor and disadvantage groups including women, youth IPs people with disabilities and non-binary groups.
