Job Description
We are now looking for qualified candidate to fulfill the position below:
- Tax Accountant
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare, review, and file monthly (MTR) and annual tax returns (ATR) accurately and on time.
- Perform bookkeeping and bank reconciliation tasks using QuickBooks and internal tools.
- Generate and analyze financial reports for clients.
- Work closely with the team to ensure all supporting documents and reports are submitted to management ahead of deadlines.
- Manage and regularly update internal technical systems and client databases.
- Liaise directly with clients, ensuring strong, trust-based relationships.
- Advise clients on potential tax-saving opportunities and profit improvement strategies.
- Stay updated on Cambodian tax regulations and ensure full compliance.
- Support tax audit processes with proper documentation and audit-ready files.
- Research complex tax matters and provide practical solutions.
- Suggest improvements to company tax policy to reduce liabilities and stay compliant.
- Monitor industry updates and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the line manager.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in tax and accounting in Cambodia.
- Strong knowledge of Cambodian tax laws and compliance procedures.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills (English and Khmer)
- Able to manage multiple deadlines and lead small teams.
