Job Description

EWS-KT is a non-profit corporate foundation with unique ties to East-West Seed Group. Our mission is to improve the production and business skills of smallholder farmers, with the aim of enhancing their livelihoods and increasing the supply of safe-to-eat vegetables while simultaneously catalyzing the development of innovative agricultural-input markets.

Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Develop and plan for implementation of all project activities
  • Develop Action Plan (Work Plan) and M&E frameworks for the projects with Team Lead , KT Manager and EWS-KTS
  • Develop the templates required by the projects and EWS-KT
  • Coordinate development of leaflet, books, training modules, KT material, printing, etc.
  • Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment and information
  • Monitor plans and expenditure and staff work plans
  • Assist in budget preparation and reporting in coordination with senior KT Finance
  • Help prepare project documents, timesheet and budget (forcast)
  • Organize monthly, quarterly meetings with project teams to track the project progress and keep track of the decisions taken and action plans.
  • Participate partner meeting to update the project progress and planning
  • Monitoring and Evaluation
  • Support use of Monitoring and Evaluation tools (KT-App and CMS) and regular follow up.
  • Visit the project areas periodically and submit monitoring reports along with the recommended action to KT Management and track the progress of the recommended actions
  • Monitor and track progress of projects and handle any issues that arise (training, demo farm records, training participation)
  • Coordinate and help KT staff for the impact survey, baseline and end survey
  • Archive photos from training, events, field visits and demo plots
  • Communication
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status adequately
  • Coordinate and liaise with EWS-KTS and partnersCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  • Help preparing presentation for workshops, training, and conferences
  • Create the communication channels with staff and regularly flow of the update information
  • Reporting
  • Provide the project quarterly/narrative and M&E reports to KT Manager and the project partners
  • Prepare the KT snapshot report and share quarterly with EWS-KTS
  • Analyze the survey results and report to the partners and EWS-KTS
  • Collect the farmers success stories and share with related partners and EWS- KTS
  • Share the market information with the Commercial team regularly
Job Requirements
Languages:
  • Khmer - Fluent
  • English - Fluent
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture or Rural Development
Skills & Knowledge:General & Technical Skills
  • Minimum of 4-5 years experience in project implementation and monitoring & Evaluation.
  • Experience and understanding of data analytics
  • Knowledge and experience in Monitoring and Evaluation ( develop MEAL and
  • Reporting)
  • Good understanding of agriculture, agri-business esp. vegetable production and market
  • Good project management skills and problem solving skills ( Designing and Planning)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and local languages.
  • Independent thinking, practically oriented, analytical mind with problem-solving skills, analytical skills in qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google and of project management tools.
  • Experience in working with national and international NGOs and Corporate companies is a plus
Soft Skills
  • Good team player able to work together with the various local organizations
