Job Description
EGF LOGISTICS CO., LTD (EGF) is a leading logistics and forwarding/clearance company and have registered as custom broker in 2010. The detail please visit our website page.
We are urgently seeking qualified candidates for the following position:
- Custom Clearance Officer
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- To ensure the clearing of good from the Customs within the shortest possible time
- Handle the day to day customs clearance operations of the department
- Control and update quantity of exempted items in system in order to monitor the balance available quantities
- Proper co-ordination with Shipping Lines, Transporters, customs and Customers for timely collection and dispatch of shipments
- Ensure that Annual Customs Duty Exemption is obtained and applied for all applicable items
- Receive and verify necessary clearing documents from Foreign Purchase Officer, translate invoices if not in Arabic, and forward them to the Customs Broker
- Ensure that all relevant systems are used correctly for all jobs / shipments all jobs are invoiced and closed within the specified time frame
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree of Business administration, Sale & marketing or other related skills.
- Current address near JIANGSU SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE would be advantage
- Fresh Graduated with good academic record are encouraged to applied
- Honest to work independently and team work
- Good communication & negotiation skills
- Have knowledge of English, if additional Chinese is more advantage
- Know well Microsoft Office, E-mail & Internet, Computer
- Eager to learn and gain new experiences (curious person with passion)
- Hard working, patient and be able to work under pressure
- Friendly, morality, and high responsible for works
