Pteah Baitong’s mission is to transform agriculture in Cambodia by introducing high-quality, clean energy technologies and innovative agri-services specifically designed for smallholder farmers. Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Define and execute the company’s strategic direction and long-term growth plans.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of business plans and ensure financial viability.
  • Lead operations to deliver reliable services and measurable impact for farmers.
  • Represent the company to stakeholders, partners, and the public.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, partners, and customers.
  • Actively engage in field visits to rural farms, ensuring services are aligned with farmer realities.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff while fostering a positive and productive work culture.
  • Monitor KPIs, manage risks, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Drive innovation in agri-services and clean energy solutions.
Job Requirements
Languages:
  • Khmer - Fluent is preferred
  • English - Fluent is preferred
Work History:
  • Experience in business and team management, business development, and budget oversight for 4 years
Skills & Knowledge:General & Technical Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Background in financial modelling, reporting, and analysis.
  • Experience in energy and agriculture is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver commercial services to customers.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); Khmer fluency strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Soft Skills
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multicultural teams and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Hands-on leadership style, with willingness to travel regularly to rural farms and engage directly with farmers.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • High integrity, ethical standards, and commitment to social impact.
