Equitable Cambodia (EC) is a Cambodian organization working to promote development which respects and protects human rights, sustainable natural resources, transparency and social justice in a democratic way. Equitable Cambodia was registered by the Ministry of Interior as a Cambodian national non-governmental organization in 2012.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all invoices/receipts into tax E-filling system transaction.
- Prepare and record invoices/receipts list for all required funders (BfdW and other funders) and submit it every semester and annually.
- Monitor and follow up with staff on cash advance settle one week before end of each month and support documentation.
- Maintain the payroll and prepare pay-slips, where each employee signs their name to acknowledge receipt of the payment
- Ensure all accounting reports and supporting documents are well classified and properly filed for future reference
- Hold and keep cash on hand in a good manner and count it once per week in order to ensure the cash on hand is recorded correctly and updated.
- To work with administrative staff to review records of the fixed asset, inventory, stationery vehicles logbook.
- Assist in processing bank transfers, deposits, withdrawals, and purchase checks as needed from bank and communication to bank from EC’s bank (with required co-signature)
- To ensure the bank signatories are updated at all time
- Assist finance officer to review staff advances and settled for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to policy before submission to finance officer and senior finance officer if needed.
- Make phone calls to suppliers to collect the payments and follow up with suppliers to confirm to receive.
- Prepare and scan documents to be uploaded into digital signature systems (Docusign/PDF Acrobat) for approval from ED and other relevant people and file it properly for EC official records.
- To ensure checking all purchased items are paid with legitimacy of fair market price.
- Any other administrative duties as requested by the Finance Officer
- Khmer - Good
- English - Good
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant subjects from an accredited University
- Relevant work experience with an NGO for 1 year
- Essential qualifications, experience and skills
- Experience and knowledge of financial systems, policies and procedures
- Good Microsoft computer skills, excel, Word and QuickBooks
- Good team player, able to work closely with support services and program staff.
- Ability to work under pressure, both independently as well as part of the team.
- Good communication skills
- Willing to travel and stay in the provinces to review and support field activities.
- Willing to work in emergency situations
- Ability to work long hours under pressure and to meet deadlines
