Programme Officer for Erikshjalpen

ERIKS Development Partner (ERIKS) is a Swedish non-governmental organisation with an administrative office in Sweden, where her name was registered with the Swedish government (registration number 827500-4789). ERIKS’ development work through the fulfilment of the rights of the child is guided by its identity and values: the spirit of Erik Nilsson (the founder of ERIKS), Christian values, and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). ERIKS envisions is a better world where children’s dreams come true. This means that ERIKS takes into account children’s dreams as driving forces to contribute to creating a world where their rights are fulfilled. ERIKS' mission is to combat poverty and vulnerability by promoting child development. ERIKS’ main strategic focus is on children’s right to education, health, protection, and survival through humanitarian response.

Today, ERIKS works in 16 countries in West and East Africa, Eastern Europe, Sweden and Asia. In all countries where we work, we cooperate and build partnerships with local organisations, as they have the advantage of knowing the culture and context in which they operate. To be able to implement the programs with partners, ERIKS has established a regional office for Asia in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, to support partners in five countries: Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Bangladesh, and India.
