Job Description
Fuchs Gruppe Cambodia is a subsidiary of the Fuchs Gruppe and a sourcing and processing company specializing in pepper. We partner closely with local farmers, operate certified processing and hand-filling facilities, and supply fully traceable pepper products for global supply chains.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Safely transport company staff, documents, goods, and equipment to assigned destinations in a timely manner.
- Strictly obey all Cambodian traffic laws and road regulations at all times, without exception.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, checking fuel levels, oil, tyres, brakes, and overall vehicle condition before each journey.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance such as checking and topping up fluid levels, replacing wipers, and monitoring tyre pressure; escalate major issues to the relevant team promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance logs as required by the company.
- Use Google Maps to plan efficient routes and reach destinations on time, including in unfamiliar provinces or regions.
- Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the company vehicle at all times, inside and out.
- Remain calm, patient, and courteous at all times while driving, particularly in heavy traffic or challenging road conditions.
- Travel to other regions or provinces as required by the company.
- Be flexible and available to accommodate changes in schedule or last-minute transportation requests as directed by management.
- Adhere strictly to the company’s working hours and be punctual and ready for assigned trips at all times.
- Demonstrate honesty, reliability, and professionalism in all interactions with staff, clients, and the public.
Job Requirements
Languages:
- English - Basic
- High School Diploma
- Professional driving experience, preferably in a corporate or company environment for 0 month as a minimum
- Strong knowledge of Cambodian traffic laws and road safety regulations
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance, including checking engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, tyre condition, and battery.
- Proficient in using Google Maps and smartphone navigation apps to plan and follow routes efficiently.
- Basic spoken and written English for simple communication with foreign staff, guests, or clients.
- Valid Cambodian driver’s license (Category B or higher); clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
- Completed at least lower secondary education; additional vocational training in driving or vehicle maintenance is an advantage.
- Basic English literacy sufficient to read road signs, addresses, and communicate simple messages.
- Calm, patient, and composed driving manner; able to handle difficult traffic conditions without stress or aggression.
- Punctual, reliable, and well-organized; able to manage time and routes effectively.
- Honest, trustworthy, and respectful in all conduct on and off the road.
- Familiarity with routes within Phnom Penh and major provinces.
