GIZ is a federally owned enterprise and is supporting the German Government in achieving its objectives in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. GIZ has been active in Cambodia for 31 years.
The GIZ Office in Cambodia is looking for a PR professional to steer and coordinate communication work and promote the image of GIZ in Cambodia, including the Country Office and all projects in Cambodia in the core areas Sustainable Economic Development, Social Protection and Health, Climate and Agrifood Systems and Good Governance.
- PR Professional
- Develop and implement overarching communication strategy for GIZ Cambodia aligned with organizational goals
- Independent steering and coordination of communication works of GIZ Cambodia
- Support acquisition activities by producing compelling content and communication materials to attract new funding and partners
- Organize and support events, workshops, and forums to promote organization visibility
- Create and deliver targeted messaging and communication materials that effectively showcase project success and impacts, human-interest stories, and key messages to external stakeholders
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of communication activities
- Manage relevant relationships with partners, donors and key stakeholders, including network to media representatives
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field, such as: communications, public relations, marketing
- 5-10+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field
- Experience in strategic communication planning and execution and proven ability to manage multi-project communication in complex organizations
- Prior experience in a leadership or senior role, overseeing teams or guiding communication strategy
- Experience working with media, strong media relations and network
- Strong ability to develop and implement communication strategies
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills for different audiences
- Familiarity with communication and design tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, Canva, Hootsuite, Mailchimp, Google Analytics).
