Job Description
We are looking for qualified candidate to fill for the position below.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve cargo revenue, tonnage, yield, and profitability targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base, including freight forwarders, logistics companies, and key corporate accounts.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to maximize revenue and customer retention.
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, cargo capacity, and demand to develop competitive sales strategies.
- Manage and negotiate cargo rates, allotments, contracts, and commercial agreements in line with company policies.
- Lead, motivate, and monitor the sales team to achieve individual and overall business targets.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, market analyses, and regular performance reports.
- Coordinate closely with operations, customer service, and airline or commercial partners to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to increase market share, optimize cargo capacity utilization, and improve overall profitability.
- Represent the company in customer meetings, industry events, and commercial negotiations.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Aviation, International Trade, or a related field.
- Air cargo sales, freight forwarding, aviation, or logistics; prior sales management experience for 3 to 5 years is preferred
- Strong knowledge of the air freight market, cargo pricing, airline capacity, and freight forwarding operations.
- Established relationships with freight forwarders, logistics providers, and key cargo customers are an advantage.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business.
