Job Description
Husk Ventures (Cambodia) Co.,Ltd is a leading biofertilizer business with a pioneering model to transform rice husk into high-quality organo-mineral and organic fertilizers to regenerate soils and sequester carbon. We have operations in Cambodia and Vietnam, producing around 5,000 tons of product per year. Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct regular sampling and analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
- Measure quality parameters such as pH, EC, TDS, moisture, and NPK (via Kjeldahl, spectrophotometry, etc.).
- Operate and maintain lab equipment: weighing balance, pH meter, EC/TDS meters, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, Kjeldahl apparatus.
- Maintain testing records, generate quality reports, and ensure documentation aligns with SOPs.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining a QC laboratory at the production site.
- Support product development trials through sample testing and reporting.
- Ensure process consistency and lab safety compliance.
- Collaborate with production, lab, and technical teams to ensure quality goals are met.
Job Requirements
Work History:
- Relevant Quality Control experience in agriculture, food, fertilizer, or related industries for 2 years as a minimum
- MSc in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related field.
- Hands-on experience with chemical analysis, sample handling, and lab instrument operation.
- Good documentation skills and ability to follow testing protocols.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards (ISO, BIS) is an advantage.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
