We are now looking for qualified candidates to fulfill the positions below:
- Food Preparation & Service
- Plan, organize, and supervise the preparation of meals for staff lunch, Church services, and Church events.
- Ensure all food meets quality, taste, and presentation standards.
- Team Leadership
- Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff and volunteers.
- Assign duties and create clear work schedules.
- Provide guidance to ensure teamwork, safety, and a positive atmosphere.
- Food Safety & Hygiene
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized kitchen environment.
- Monitor food storage, temperature, and proper handling.
- Conduct regular kitchen inspections and cleaning schedules.
- Inventory & Procurement
- Manage stock levels of food, rice, spices, and kitchen supplies.
- Prepare purchase requests and coordinate with finance for procurement.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure cost-effective usage of resources while avoiding food waste.
- Administration & Reporting
- Keep documentation of meal counts, stock usage, and budget expenses.
- Provide reports to management as required.
- Participate in planning meetings for Church events or Social programs.
- Communication & Collaboration
- Coordinate with leaders and event organizers.
- Communicate kitchen needs clearly and in a timely manner.
- Work closely with facility teams and volunteer teams.
- Experience in kitchen leadership, catering, hospitality, or food service.
- Experience in large-scale meal preparation and catering.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Strong leadership and team management.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability handle pressure during busy events.
- Basic budgeting and inventory skills.
- Ability to cook for large groups.
- Time management and problem-solving skills.
- Servant-hearted, humble, and team-oriented.
- Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy.
- Passion for serving the community and supporting the mission of the organization.
- Respectful of Christian values and organizational culture.
- Requires weekend and evening availability for Church services or events.
