Job Description
Within its project Our Bright Jurney, C.I.F.A ETS (Italy NGO) is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of
Junior Social Worker, Khmer Traditional Dance Teacher, Chinese language teacher and Computer Teacher.
The project is funded by the Italian Commission for Adoption (CAI) and aims to organize outreach activities to the support children in vulnerable conditions living in the slum areas of Phnom Penh.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Teach basic Khmer traditional dances (focusing on fun, energetic Folk Dances suitable for primary school children).
- Manage a classroom of young students with patience and positive encouragement.
- Prepare students for small community performances or school events (e.g., Khmer New Year).
- Collaborate with NGO staff to monitor student attendance and engagement.
Job Requirements
Skills & Knowledge:General & Technical Skills
- Background in Khmer traditional dance
- Previous experience teaching or working with young children/primary students is a strong plus.
- Patient, reliable, and passionate about child development and cultural preservation.
- Must be based in Sihanoukville or willing to travel/relocate for the schedule.
