Kent Ridge International School (KIS) was established in 2015 in Toul Kork to become a school of scholars by nurturing young generation to be human resources that are full of knowledge and uphold the integrity. We provide comprehensive and challenging academic programs consisting of Singapore and Khmer curriculums in which students are able to unleash their potential, develop their talents, and maximize their capabilities to strive for excellence and more importantly being able to compete locally and internationally. Our students take the grade 9 and grade 12 national exams from the Ministry of Education Youth and Sports, Cambodia and the IGCSE, As and A levels examinations from Cambridge.
We are currently seeking a qualified and passionate positions to join our growing international program team.
- Secondary Science Teacher
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Science (Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics) for Grades 7–12 in accordance with the Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, assessments, experiments, and lab activities aligned with learning objectives.
- Track and assess student performance, provide feedback, and prepare progress reports.
- Support students in exam preparation and guide them in developing strong scientific thinking skills.
- Maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment that encourages inquiry-based learning.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings, participate in monthly school meetings and annual school events.
- Uphold the school’s values, policies, and professional standards at all times.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Science Education, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- A teaching qualification or professional teacher’s license is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or Cambridge curriculum setting.
- Strong command of English (both spoken and written).
- Familiarity with Cambridge IGCSE and/or A-Level syllabi is a strong advantage.
- Passionate about teaching and committed to student development.
- Good classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
