- Key Responsibilities
- A. ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System
- Implement, maintain, and improve the ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
- Conduct hazard analysis, monitor CCPs/OPRPs, verify PRPs, and ensure food safety compliance.
- Prepare, update, and control FSMS documentation (procedures, SOPs, records, forms).
- Conduct internal audits and support certification or surveillance audits.
- Lead corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes and follow-up.
- Provide training to employees on food safety awareness, hygiene, and ISO requirements
- Compliance with Regulations
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and occupational safety regulations.
- Support workplace safety programs.
- Participate in workplace health & safety committees where applicable.
- Maintain training records related to health and safety, PPE usage, and worker welfare.
- Assist HR and HSE teams in compliance inspections and documentation
- Compliance with Environment Requirements regulation
- Ensure the company complies with environmental regulations including waste management, air emissions, wastewater discharge, and chemical handling.
- Monitor and maintain environmental documentation as required by MoE (IEIA, EIA, EMP, environmental reports).
- Support waste minimization, recycling, and sustainability programs.
- Coordinate environmental monitoring activities with approved laboratories.
- Assist in preparing for inspections and audits
- Compliance with industrial standards
- Ensure compliance with industrial standards, factory operating licenses, and product registration requirements.
- Support implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) aligned with MISTI guidelines.
- Maintain records for machinery safety, calibration, and equipment compliance.
- Assist in processing permits, certifications, and renewals required by MISTI.
- Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
- Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process activities, and finished product quality.
- Monitor quality KPIs and assist with root cause analysis for quality deviations.
- Support supplier audits and ensure supplier compliance with ISO 22000 and regulatory standards.
- Promote a strong quality and food safety culture within the organization.
- Khmer - Good
- English - Fluent
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Engineering, or a related field.
- QA/QC experience in food manufacturing or a related industry for 5 years
- Experience with ISO 22000:2018, HACCP, GMP.
- Experience with Cambodian regulations is a plus.
- Good understanding of food safety principles, risk assessment, and quality systems.
- Strong documentation and auditing skills.
- Knowledge of Cambodian labor, environmental, and industrial compliance requirements.
- Good communication skills in Khmer; English proficiency is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
