Job Description
We are now looking for qualified candidate to fulfill the position below:
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare monthly financial reports, profit & loss statements, and cashflow reports
- Monitor daily revenue, expenses, and resort financial performance
- Maintain accurate accounting records in compliance with Cambodian regulations and accounting standards • Assist with annual budgeting and financial forecasting
- Ensure timely reconciliation of all accounts and banking records
- Cashflow & Cost Control
- Monitor operational cashflow and working capital
- Control procurement, inventory, and operational expenses
- Implement and maintain internal financial control systems
- Ensure proper handling of resort cash, deposits, collections, and disbursements
- Monitor payroll and staff-related expenses
- Asset Protection & Compliance
- Support protection of company assets through financial controls
- Maintain proper filing and safekeeping of financial records and contracts
- Ensure tax compliance and support government reporting requirements
- Support audits and financial inspections
- Operational Support
- Work closely with the CEO and department heads
- Support operational cost control and revenue monitoring
- Assist management with financial analysis and reporting
- Participate in improving operational efficiency and financial systems
- Team Supervision
- Supervise accounting and finance staff
- Promote discipline, professionalism, and accountability
- Assist with staff training and financial SOP implementation
Job Requirements
Languages:
- Khmer is preferred
- English is preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Finance/accounting experience for 3 to 5 years as a minimum
- Experience in hospitality, hotel, resort, or tourism industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems and financial reporting
- Strong integrity and financial discipline
- Khmer and English communication skills preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote island environment
