Job Description
Founded in 2013 by a French-Belgian couple, La Plantation is a Cambodian company producing high-quality organic Kampot Pepper and spices, as well as an agro-tourism project based in Kampot. La Plantation is the leading brand for Cambodian origin natural spices and herbs. The range has over 80 original spices and blends, and new references are added every year. La Plantation spices are processed on-premises and exported around the world in over 40 countries: USA, Canada, UE, Russia, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong…
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Tax & Compliance
- Prepare and submit monthly and annual tax declarations.
- Ensure compliance with Cambodian tax laws and regulations.
- Liaise with tax authorities and respond to tax-related inquiries.
- Assist during tax audits and statutory audits.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and recommend necessary actions.
- Maintain accurate tax documentation and records.
- General Accounting Support
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to taxation.
- Prepare tax reconciliations and accounting schedules.
- Assist the Finance Manager with tax planning and compliance initiatives.
- Ensure proper filing and organization of tax documentation.
Job Requirements
Languages:
- Khmer - Good is required
- English - Good
- French - Good is preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
- Taxation and accounting for 2 years as a minimum
- Good knowledge of Cambodian tax regulations and accounting standards.
- Experience dealing with tax authorities and audits.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Odoo, or similar).
- Good command of English. Khmer is required; French is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
