Job Description

To support the rapid growth of our operations, LOLC is recruiting one qualified candidate to fill the position below.

Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Lead all branch offices to prepare annual business projection (Credit and Asset Backed Lending) and business strategy;
  • Provide strategic direction to branch offices and regularly monitor credit and asset backed lending performance to ensure it is growth as per business plan with quality;
  • Monitor credit quality and provide strategic advice to branch offices on strengthening loan quality;
  • Ensure that overall targets of loan delinquency collection is achieved as plan;
  • Regularly conduct field visit to branch offices to analyze existing branch operations and determines areas for improvement;
  • Keep up to date industry information, competitors and environmental information to be proactive to adapt to changes; and
  • Conducts/directs business analysis to determine new products and service that is suitable to the market.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in managing microfinance operations;
  • University degree in suitable area, preferably in Banking/Finance or Business Management;
  • Familiar with emerging issues related to microfinance industry in Cambodia;
  • High ability to persuade others to change their mind set or behavior;
  • Strong communication skills (able to speak and write Khmer and English);
  • Computer literate in spreadsheet, database and work processing programs;
  • Strong leadership, motivational, planning and management skills; and
  • Strong ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong objectively.
