Job Description
We are looking for qualified candidate to fill for the position below.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Quality function
- Carry out operational controls in each unit,
- Ensure the evaluation of the system through internal audits,
- Participate in the implementation of corrective actions in case of non-conformity and monitor their effectiveness,
- Ensure the conformity of menus during inspections,
- Verify and validate the traceability of production,
- Work with the QHSE Manager to investigate all accidents, incidents and food complaints and prepare an action plan,
- Provide training to area managers and employees in all departments,
- Train all managers and staff on Newrest digital tools,
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.
- Safety function
- Ensure the proper application of the Quality/Hygiene/Security/Environment provisions defined by Newrest,
- Apply the HACCP approach,
- Carry out operational safety inspections.
- Hygiene function
- Provide the operational support necessary to maintain the hygiene level of the units,
- Carry out the self-checks defined in the health control plan.
Job Requirements
Languages:
- English - Fluent
- French is preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or related to Food Safety as a minimum
- Experience in a similar position for 2 years as a minimum
- Proven understanding of Good Hygiene Practice (GHP), and HACCP regulations
- English written and spoken mandatory , French is a plus.
- Good communication skills with ability to correct and teach at the same time
- Well-organized, rigorous and methodical but enough adaptability to local constraints
