Northbridge International School Cambodia is looking for a talented Teaching Assistant to join the school's dynamic Learning support team. Northbridge is part of Nord Anglia Education (NAE), a global family of 77 schools, with 70,000 students, across 31 countries worldwide, which makes us one of Cambodia's most international companies to work for. The Teaching Assistant will be part of a diverse team of foreigners and locals at the school and will work closely with colleagues in the regional office in Ho Chi Minh City and the global NAE headquarters in London, UK.
- Provide individualized support to the student, both academically and emotionally
- Collaborate with the classroom teacher to implement tailored strategies and interventions
- Foster a positive learning environment, promoting inclusion and engagement
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor and record progress, providing ongoing feedback and reports to the appropriate stakeholders
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the student at all times
- Collaborate effectively with the wider school community, including parents, caregivers, and external professionals
- Bachelor's Degree
- Previous experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
- Flexibility and adaptability in response to changing situations
- A commitment to continuous professional development
