Job Description

Oknha Mong Port Co., Ltd. is an international joint venture companies between a Thai company and Cambodia company with more than 800 employees. The MRT-TCC JV is an internationally recognized lead in the oil palm business and runs a thriving sea port. To achieve its objective, we are looking for high quality candidates to fill the position of:

Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Assist the safety manager in developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) for high-risk port activities (e.g., container handling, crane operations, vessel berthing).
  • Ensure all safety protocols align with both company policy and international maritime regulations.
  • Co-facilitate and organize safety training sessions, induction programs for new hires, and specialize for dockworkers and contractors.
  • Promote a “Safety First” mindset across all levels of the port staff.
  • Conduct comprehensive monthly inspections of all safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, PPE, lifebuoys, first aid kits, and emergency alarms.
  • Perform regular site walk-thoughts to identify and mitigate physical hazards on the quayside and in the warehouses.
  • Assist in the investigation of near-misses and accidents; gather evidence and help draft root-cause analysis reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety data and KPIs.
  • Execute specific tasks as assigned by the safety manager (e.g., supervising hazardous cargo discharge or managing waste disposal protocols).
  • Act as a bridge between the safety manager and the local workforce to ensure clear communication of safety requirements.
  • Other tasks as assigned by port safety manager.
Job Requirements
Languages:
  • English - Good
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in or Associate Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering or a related field.
Skills & Knowledge:General & Technical Skills
  • Safety Certificates (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001, or related certificate)
  • Vessel maneuvering
  • Safety Skills
  • Able to write,​​read and speak in English.
  • Computer skill (Basic of MS office program)
  • Investigation & analysis skill.
Soft Skills
  • Be able stay and work in rural area.
  • Training and teaching skill.
  • Conflict resolution skill.
