Job Description
Ontario International School uses an outcome-based curriculum that is an integration of the Canadian and Cambodian curricula. Ontario is committed to providing excellent care and educational programs for infants and children, which blend fun and learning in a safe, secure, stimulating, and student-centered environment. Responding to the increasing number of students, we are looking for a qualified candidate for the following position:
- Foreign Teacher - Lower Secondary (1 Position)
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare weekly lesson plans and needed materials/manipulatives.
- Teach the assigned class(es) according to the study schedule.
- Teach the children to develop good habits.
- Prepare assessments (e.g. tests, homework, projects, exams) and administer them effectively.
- Prepare report cards for all students.
- Participate in Parent-Teacher Conferences.
- Supervise the classroom to maintain hygiene, safety and security of the children.
- Support school activities and events.
- Maintain a coord relationship with children, parents, staff and management.
- Attend meetings and training regularly.
- Other tasks assigned by the management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Education, child development, Psychology or teacher training certification
- Teaching license is preferable
- At least 2-year experience in teaching at the appropriate grade levels
- Good interpersonal skills
- Commitment to excellence
- Love and care for the children
- Honesty and kindness to the school community
