This position is expected to be filled as soon as possible.
- Florist Assistant
- Cut and arrange live, dried and greenery to make decorative flowers.
- Determine the type of arrangement desired, the occasion, and the date, time, and location for each arrangement needed.
- Recommend flowers and greenery for each arrangement to customers.
- Consider the customer’s budget when making recommendations.
- Design floral displays that evoke a particular sentiment or style.
- Answer telephones, take orders, wrap arrangements.
- Ensure an adequate supply to meet customers’ needs.
- Ensure proper communication of project status, timelines, and delivery of information to guests, bookers, organizers, and other departments.
- Ensure all orders are updated on the register sheet and appropriate sign off to be taken from guests or other departments.
- Billing/voucher to be done for all guest orders, events, and charges to be posted to the appropriate guest.
- Assist Senior Florist for each arrangement for customers.
- Fresh graduate in the field of creative design and decoration related.
- Good in English. Knowledge in Chinese language is an advantage.
- Able to work independently on the task but also work as a team.
- Appearance: Good looking and organized
- Personality: Creative/innovative, confident, and dynamic
- Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, problem solving, and project management.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office
