Job Description
Precious Women Organization is a local Christian organization in Cambodia, working alongside women who are being exploited in the Entertainment Industry within Karaoke Bars and Beer Gardens.
Vision:
For Cambodian women who are working in the entertainment industry and at risk of exploitation to live in freedom, with hope and dignity
Mission:
Promote better working conditions for women who work in the entertainment industries so they can avoid sexual and economic exploitation by empowering them opportunities to gain vocational skills, soft skills, and rehabilitation.Prevent young women, who are vulnerable to exploitation, by giving them opportunities to get better education.Precious Women is looking for a passionate and qualified candidate to fill the following position:
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide effective training sessions through the Women Empowerment curriculum that prepared by program supervisor.
- Provide life skills, basic consoling to the women as need to the women.
- Set up training environments, lesson plans, training schedules, and training materials for trainings.
- Monitor participants’ progress and provide individual support as needed.
- Join night outreach activities to engage with women in KBB.
- Help identify women for training and follow-up to be sure they are completed the training.
- Work closely with the Program supervisor and team to ensure quality and alignment with PW’s mission.
- Maintain confidentiality and create a safe training environment for women.
- Prepare monthly reports, attendance lists, training evaluations and provide accurate data to program supervisor.
- Support organizational activities and events as required.
- Occasionally travel to provinces for training or outreach activities.
Job Requirements
Languages:
- English - Basic is preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in social work, Education, Psychology, Community Development, or related field.
- Experience in training, facilitation, or community work for 1 year as a minimum
- Experience working with women in entertainment venues or NGOs (advantage).
- Candidates who have faith in Jesus will be given priority.
- Female candidates preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and encourage vulnerable women.
- Be able to participate in night outreach activities.
- Basic English proficiency (advantage).
- Commitment to Precious Women’s mission and values.
