Job Description
We are now looking for qualified candidate to fulfill the position below:
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Risk Management & Prevention
- Inspections: Conducting daily walk-throughs to spot hazards like faulty wiring, slippery floors, or improper chemical storage.
- Risk Assessments: Evaluating new equipment or processes to determine potential dangers and how to control them.
- PPE Oversight: Ensuring all employees have and correctly use Personal Protective Equipment (hard hats, gloves, goggles).
- Compliance & Policy
- Regulation Knowledge: Staying up-to-date with local and international laws (like OSHA, ISO 45001, or NEBOSH).
- Safety Manuals: Drafting and updating the company’s safety policies and emergency evacuation plans.
- Documentation: Keeping meticulous records of safety logs, audits, and certifications for legal and insurance purposes.
- Training & Culture
- Toolbox Talks: Leading short, daily briefings to remind workers of specific safety risks before a shift begins.
- Safety Inductions: Training new hires on the company’s safety rules.
- Drills: Organizing fire, medical, or chemical spill drills to ensure everyone knows how to react in a crisis.
- Incident Response
- Accident Investigation: When something goes wrong, the officer uses "Root Cause Analysis" to find out why it happened, not just what happened.
- Reporting: Submitting official reports to management and government authorities.
- Corrective Action: Implementing changes to make sure the same accident never happens twice.
Job Requirements
Languages:
- English - Good is required
- Bachelor's Degree in / High School is also acceptable
- Work Experience for 2 years
- Hazard Identification: The "trained eye" to see risks others miss.
- Incident Investigation: Investigative and analytical skills.
- Communication: The ability to explain complex rules simply.
- Leadership: Being firm but fair when enforcing rules.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in spotting small errors.
