RainWater Cambodia (RWC) was established in 2004, and is managed by a dynamic group of Cambodian people; and has been a lead organization or partner organization in over 50 projects working with rural communities to improve their access to safe drinking water, sanitation and climate change adaptation. In 2009-2011, RWC was awarded from a Good and Professional Practice managed by CCC and currently RWC is on the process of submission to re-award. And 2016, RWC has won Energy Globe – Austria 2016 national award on its rainwater harvesting formulization project in rural Cambodia.
RWC currently is looking for on position on “WASH Officer Intern”, to undertake the key tasks as presented in the following:
- Administrative and Logistical Support
- Help with daily office work such as letters, documents, and filing.
- Support procurement, inventory, and logistical arrangements for field missions, meetings, training, workshop and field visits.
- Keep records of office materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Prepare and check financial documents and payment requests with the finance team.
- Communication and Reporting
- Develop communication materials such as project updates, reports, newsletters, and social media content.
- Document project progress through video, case studies, success stories, and photo reports.
- Support visibility activities including the design of posters, banners, and infographics for public campaigns.
- Support communication with community partners, schools, and authorities.
- Project Implementation Support
- Assist the Project teams in planning, coordinating, and implementing field activities on community awareness sessions, WASH promotion, and training.
- Participate in field monitoring visits and provide logistical and technical support during project implementation.
- Coordinate with local authorities, schools, and communities to ensure smooth activity delivery.
- Work with the Project Manager to plan and organize field activities such as awareness sessions, meetings, and training.
- Coordination and teams Support
- Report to Project Manager and Finance teams
- Join internal meetings and support activity planning when needed.
- Help with coordination between the project team and community partners.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
