Samaritan’s Purse International Relief (SPIR) is a nonprofit, nondenominational, evangelical Christian Organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. We are seeking two qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Implement WASH project activities in assigned communities according to project plans.
  • Mentor and coach Village Volunteers (VVs) to build their skills and problem-solving capacity while delivering community trainings on hygiene, sanitation, MHM, and SMTA.
  • Provide Training of Trainers (ToT) to VVs, encouraging them to develop creative methods for engaging communities and solving local WASH challenges.
  • Develop, adapt, and improve training materials based on field observations, community feedback, and project learning.
  • Identify vulnerable households needing water jars, rainwater catchment systems, or latrines, and help find effective solutions.
  • Coordinate with the WASH Construction Field Officer to distribute BSF materials, water containers, and other supplies, ensuring that beneficiaries sign or thumbprint on the Good Receive Note (GRN).
  • Support Village Volunteers (VVs) in correctly installing BSFs and follow up to check usage and maintenance at each household.
  • Plan and lead community night events and skits to raise awareness about hygiene and SMTA.
  • Collaborate with local authorities and community leaders to ensure smooth project implementation.
  • Monitor field activities, collect data, prepare weekly reports.
  • Involve with the MEAL department in conducting baseline and end line surveys to measure project progress and impact.
  • Participate in monthly team reflection meetings and share lessons learned.
  • Report issues, challenges, and recommendations to the Project Coordinator or Manager.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Project Coordinator or Project Manager.
