Job Description

Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Conduct quantitative data collection for evaluation in assigned project(s)
  • Interact with community members to gather necessary data
  • Ensure accuracy and adherence to ethical standards
  • Work outside the normal role profile and vary working hours accordingly in the event of a major humanitarian emergency
Job Requirements
Languages:
  • [Local languages] - Good is preferred
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in social sciences, education, or a related field.
Work History:
  • At least working experience in data collection for 2 years
Skills & Knowledge:General & Technical Skills
  • Desired: Experience in carrying out fieldwork for data collection using structured interviews.
  • Experience using a smartphone or computer for data collection.
  • Experience in working with communities.
  • Knowledge of local languages.
  • Knowledge of interviewing techniques for data collection.
  • Experiences with specific data collection tools such as CREDI, IDELA, NIYCF
  • Experiences with qualitative data collection.
Soft Skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Commitment to achieving targets within a given timeframe.
