Job Description
Serendib Microinsurance Plc., one of the subsidiary companies of LOLC Holdings Plc, obtained the license from the Insurance Regulator of Cambodia in December 2020. Currently, we are looking for a qualified and dynamic candidate to fulfill the following position:
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Strategic Leadership
- Support the CEO in developing and executing the company's strategic plans and business objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals and improve business performance.
- Act on behalf of the CEO when delegated.
- Finance & Corporate Governance
- Oversee finance, accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with CIFRS, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Operations & Business Performance
- Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient, cost-effective business processes.
- Manage insurance operations, including policy administration, renewals, claims, customer service, and reporting.
- Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Risk, Compliance & Internal Control
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
- Lead risk management and business continuity initiatives.
- Maintain effective internal controls and governance practices.
- Human Resources & Administration
- Oversee recruitment, performance management, payroll, employee development, and labor compliance.
- Manage administration, procurement, and company assets.
- Foster a high-performance culture and build organizational capability.
- Reporting & Stakeholder Management
- Prepare and review management, operational, and financial reports.
- Support Board, regulatory, and management reporting requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with regulators, partners, customers, and other stakeholders.
Job Requirements
Languages:
- English - Good
- Khmer - Good
- Master's Degree is preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in business administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field
- Operations management within the insurance or financial services sector, with a preferred focus on microinsurance for 5 years
- Strong understanding of microinsurance products, market dynamics, and regulatory environments.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skill and Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and Khmer.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
