SOS Children’s Villages Cambodia (www.soscambodia.org) is a Member Association (MA) of the SOS Children’s Villages International federation, which is one of the largest non-for-profit organization in the world dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people without parental care or at risk of losing it. We are currently seeking the qualified and competitive dynamic candidates to fill the following position(s) as below:

Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Case Management and Planning
  • Conduct assessments and maintain updated individual development plans.
  • Track child progress across health, education, and psychosocial wellbeing.
  • Maintain complete records and ensure accurate CMIS entries.
  • Safeguarding and Child Protection
  • Identify and manage risks affecting children.
  • Report cases through safeguarding channels.
  • Participate in incident management reviews when assigned.
  • Support for Children and Youth
  • Provide first-line psychosocial support and identify care needs.
  • Coordinate tutoring, mentoring, counselling, or specialized help.
  • Facilitate life-skills, confidence-building, and youth advisory involvement.
  • Support for Mothers and Caregivers
  • Coach caregivers on positive parenting, emotional support, discipline, and learning routines.
  • Support peer-learning and strengthen shared childcare practices.
  • Collaborate with Youth Caregivers for adolescent needs.
  • Reintegration, Transition, and Aftercare
  • Prepare transition plans for all adolescents from age 14 onward.
  • Build and manage relationships with families, communities, and MoSVY.
  • Track care-leavers as per aftercare guidance and provide follow-up support.
  • Collaboration and Referral Coordination
  • Work with schools, training centers, health staff, and local authorities.
  • Lead referrals to specialized external services (medical, livelihood, counselling)
  • Maintain good partnership conduct with the Commune Council and DoSVY.
  • Monitoring, Reporting & Learning
  • Submit monthly caseload summaries and progress reports.
  • Participate in monitoring visits, audits, and learning meetings.
  • Contribute case examples and success stories for donor and federation use.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, education, sociology, or related field
Work History:
  • At least supporting children or youth directly for 2 years
Skills & Knowledge:General & Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of Cambodian care systems, CCWC, and DoSVY is an advantage
  • Experience with case management and child protection required.
Soft Skills
  • Child-centered approach and respect for the child's voice.
  • Understanding of trauma and alternative care standards.
  • Effective communication, coaching, and group facilitation.
  • Reliable documentation, planning, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently within agreed frameworks.
