We are currently seeking the qualified and competitive dynamic candidates to fill the following position(s) as below:
- Cash management
- Maintain the official cash box and always ensure its physical security.
- Receive and disburse cash strictly based on approved payment requests.
- Verify the completeness of supporting documents before any payment.
- Issue official receipts for all cash received.
- Ensure no payment is made without proper authorization.
- Documentation and recording
- Record all cash transactions daily in the cashbook.
- Ensure vouchers are correctly numbered, filed, and supported by receipts.
- Maintain clear, organized, and audit-ready filing of all cash documents.
- Stamp “PAID” on all paid vouchers and supporting documents.
- Daily and monthly reconciliation
- Conduct daily cash count and reconcile with the cashbook balance.
- Prepare monthly cash reconciliation for review by the Finance Officer
- Immediately report any discrepancy to the supervisor
- Support surprise cash counts and internal audits.
- Support to procurement and program activities
- Process petty cash payments for program and operational needs.
- Coordinate with Admin/Procurement staff on small purchases.
- Support advances for activities and ensure timely liquidation.
- Follow up with staff on outstanding advances and acquittals.
- Compliance and internal control
- Always follow the SOS Cambodia Finance Policy and procedures.
- Ensure segregation of duties (no self-approval, no self-payment)
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling cash.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly petty cash summary reports.
- Submit cash reports to the Finance Officer / Project Manager on time.
- Inform supervisor when cash balance reaches minimum threshold for replenishment.

- Child safeguarding
- Keep safeguarding files secure and confidential.
- Track reporting timelines and collect monthly and quarterly updates.
- Support logistics for safeguarding, PSHEA, and Code of Conduct training.
- Maintain records of trained staff, caregivers, and volunteers.
- Ensure new staff and caregivers complete safeguarding induction and sign policies.
- Share updated reporting templates and hotline information with villages.
- Check simple compliance items such as posters, complaint boxes, and form availability.
- Relay concerns promptly to the Project Manager or National Safeguarding Focal Point.
- Ensure financial practices do not expose SOS Cambodia to fraud or misuse risks
- Report any suspected misuse of funds or irregularities immediately
- English - Good
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- At least experience in cashiering or finance support for 1 to 2 years
- Experience working in NGOs or the development sector is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of accounting and internal control principles.

- High level of honesty and integrity
- Good record-keeping and filing skills.
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word)
- Ability to work under supervision and follow procedures.
