We are currently seeking the qualified and competitive dynamic candidates to fill the following position(s) as
- Content Development
- Produce stories, case studies, photos, and videos that highlight the impact of SOS Cambodia’s programs.
- Work with program teams to document activities in Family Strengthening, Community-Led Care, Youth Empowerment, and Village-based services.
- Ensure all content follows ethical storytelling standards and safeguarding requirements.
- Maintain an updated story bank for donors, PSAs, website, and social media use.
- Digital Communication
- Manage SOS Cambodia’s website and social media channels, ensuring regular and engaging posts.
- Track analytics and provide monthly performance updates to the Fund Development & Communication Manager.
- Support online campaigns, events, and fundraising initiatives.
- Improve the use of multimedia content (short videos, infographics, staff interviews, youth stories).
- Branding & Visibility
- Ensure all communication materials follow SOS International branding guidelines.
- Support the development of brochures, presentations, posters, and IEC materials.
- Coordinate with program teams to ensure consistent signage, donor branding, and event materials.
- Assist in producing the annual report and donor communication packages.
- Media Relations
- Help manage relationships with journalists and media outlets.
- Draft press releases, event briefs, and communication notes.
- Support media visits and ensure compliance with safeguarding and consent requirements.
- Monitor media coverage relevant to SOS Cambodia.
- Donor & PSA Communication Support
- Provide communication materials requested by Program Support Associations (PSAs), such as stories, photos, monthly highlights, and impact updates.
- Assist in preparing donor reports with high-quality visuals and human-interest stories.
- Support donor visits by preparing success stories, talking points, and visibility materials.
- Internal Communication
- Support staff communication initiatives, including newsletters, announcements, and internal updates.
- Capture stories and achievements from SOS programs across provinces.
- Assist the Fund Development & Communication Manager in strengthening communication systems.
- Deliverables (Expected Results)
- Regular and high-quality content produced monthly.
- Strong and consistent online presence across digital platforms.
- Updated story bank for PSAs and donors.
- Events and donor visits are well-supported with professional communication materials.
- Annual report contributions completed on time.
- Improved brand visibility nationally.
- Child Safeguarding Responsibilities
- Adhere to SOS Child & Youth Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct.
- Report any suspected safeguarding risks immediately.
- Ensure all HR & payroll processes uphold safeguarding standards, especially regarding safe recruitment.
- Working Relationships
- Internal
- Reports to the Fund Development & Communication Manager.
- Works closely with Program teams in each province, especially child protection, youth teams, and family strengthening staff.
- Coordinates with M&E, HR & OD, and Finance on communication needs.
- Supports the National Director and the Deputy National Director during events and strategic communication moments.
- External
- Collaborates with PSAs (Sweden, Denmark, Hong Kong, etc.) on communication materials.
- Maintains contact with media outlets, designers, photographers, and communication partners.
- Supports donors, embassy teams, and INGOs during visits and events.
- Bachelor's Degree in communications, journalism, media, marketing, or a related field.
- Master's Degree is preferred
- At least of experience in communication, media, content creation, or social media management for 2 to 3 years
- Experience with NGOs, community development, or child-focused organizations is an advantage.
- Experience with photography and videography is preferred
- Strong writing and storytelling skills.
- Basic photography and video editing abilities (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools).
- Good understanding of social media trends and analytics.
- Ability to produce explicit, engaging communication materials.
- Strong coordination skills and ability to work with field staff.
- Good interpersonal communication.
- High integrity and commitment to safeguarding principles.
- Creative thinker with strong strategic planning skills.
- Good judgment and ability to work independently.
- Respectful, collaborative, and culturally sensitive.
